  • Brow aftercare Instructions...

Day 1: Every 30 minutes after your procedure for the next two hours, dampen one of the single-use cotton pads provided in your kit (or a clean paper towel or napkin) with lukewarm sterile bottled water. Gently wipe your brows with the pad and allow them to air dry.

Wait another 30 minutes, then repeat the process. This helps prevent potential scabbing from lymph buildup.

    Day 2-14:

    1. Start by washing your hands thoroughly. Then, using lukewarm bottled water, dampen a cotton pad and gently wipe your brows, following the direction of hair growth. Avoid excessive rubbing or scrubbing.

    2. Lightly pat your brows dry with a paper towel. Do not use a body towel, as it may carry bacteria.

    3. Apply a thin layer of balm to your brows—a small amount, about the size of a rice grain, should be enough for both brows. Your brows should feel moisturized while still able to breathe, supporting the healing process.

    4. Repeat steps 1-3 twice daily, AM and PM. You can stop using the wash and balm after about 2-3 weeks once your brows are fully healed.

  • What can I expect during the healing process?

The healing process typically takes about 7-14 days, but full healing may take up to 4-6 weeks.

Day 1-3: Brows will appear darker and possibly a bit red and irritated.

Day 4-5: The skin may still be a bit red and irritated still, but you should notice light flaking or scabbing beginning to form.

Day 6-8: You’ll start to see the skin flaking or peeling off. This can make the brows look a bit patchy as some areas of the pigment may lift. The color may also look lighter or uneven at this point.

Day 9-10: By this stage, most of the scabs should have fallen off, and the pigment will start settling. The brows may look patchy in places, and some areas may appear lighter or less defined than before.

Day 11-14: The brows should now appear lighter, more natural, and the shape will begin to become more clear as healing progresses. You might still see slight unevenness, but the color should look more uniform by now.

Day 15-28: The brows will continue to soften, and the pigment will stabilize into its final shade. Some areas may still look a bit faded or lighter than others, which is why the touch-up appointment is important.

  • Lips Pre-care Instructions

Do not consume alcohol, caffeine, and/or nicotine for at least 24 hours before your procedure. Consumption of these items can cause excessive bleeding and interrupt your skin’s healing process. These items are stimulants and will heighten your sensitivity during the procedure. Doing so may result in rescheduling and forfeiture of your appointment.

Exfoliate your lips with a lip scrub 4 days and 2 days prior to the appointment. Sleep with a lip mask for at least 1 week prior.

Please eat something 20 - 30 minutes prior to your appointment. Do not plan anything too closely after your appointment so that we are not rushed.

If you bruise easily, we recommend taking Arnica before and after your procedure. Arnica is available at most health food stores.

If you are on blood thinners, check with your doctor to make sure you can go 24 hours without them. It is not advised to be on blood thinners for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. You may take them right after the procedure is finished.

Avoid tanning and tanning beds 2 weeks before/after the procedure.

Please avoid any products containing Retin-A, AHA/BHA, acid for 2 weeks before/after the procedure around the procedure area. These products can cause excessive bleeding and interrupt your skin’s healing process.

You may request a patch test 2 weeks before the procedure. We are required by the color manufacturer to offer that to you, but it is not needed. A patch test does not ensure that you will not develop a reaction later on.

  • Lips After-care Instructions

No makeup on the treated area until completely healed.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE HEALING PROCESS: For most, lips will heal within 3 - 7 days. Estimated timeline below.

Day 1: Lip color is vibrant and intense. Lips may be slightly swollen.

    Day 2 - 4: Lips feel tight & dry.

Day 4 - 7: Lips are completely peeled & the color seems very faint/light.

Day 7 - 48: Color will start to resurface, darken, & stabilize as your skin regenerates & pushes the pigment to the upper layers of the skin. Lips can take up to 2 months to show its true color.
